Our trench drains are available with a variety of interchangeable gratings made of different materials and applicable for various load class applications (light, medium, heavy-duty or ultra-heavy duty).
A trench drain system is also known as a linear trench drain system (or channel drain, line drain, slot drain, linear drain, or strip drain). The purpose of a trench drain system is to move storm waters from one place to another.
Trench drains typically consist of a V-shaped body with built-in edge rails and a mounted detachable grate. The trench drain grates are available in different materials such as plastic, ductile iron, galvanized steel, or stainless steel. Trench drainage grates are offered in attractive designs such as perforated grates, mesh grates, slotted grates, or slotted grates.
The patented sustainable FILCOTEN® HPC material incorporates the best specificities of concrete channels, using a fiber-enriched formula rather than polluting resins.
We offer trench drain systems with different choices of edge rail material.
At BG-Graspointner, we define our edge rails materials with the following letters: E, V & G. The reason being that in German – the original language of our first facility – they stand for Edelstahl, Verzinkter Stahl & Gusseisen or, in English:
